Introduction

Multiple sclerosis is usually caused by the highly acidic waste products of specific types of microbes, which are called "mycotoxins." These waste products block brain signaling, thus creating "perpetual brain fog."

Multiple sclerosis can also be an auto-immune disease. What this means is that a substance or microbe gets in a location of the body that the immune system cannot reach.

The immune system, being somewhat of a robot, attacks the area around the substance (hoping to kill or destroy the substance), but in the process, may do far more damage than the substance itself is causing.

Whatever the main cause, the brain cells become weak and thus Multiple Sclerosis can also be called a "cellular energy" disease. But weak brain cells are a symptom, not a "root cause."

It is important to read this entire article because treating multiple sclerosis may require several different approaches including rebuilding the myelon sheaths, which is discussed late in this article.

Let us talk about the treatment dealing with the primary cause of M.S. in most cases: mycotoxins of microbes which create perpetual brain fog.

The Primary Treatment For MS

The primary treatment for MS is also the primary treatment for several other brain disorders. One article has been written for several brain disorders because they all have the same "root cause," namely highly acidic mycotoxins which create "perpetual brain fog."

Unless the patient is known to have been exposed to high levels of mercury over a long period of time (excluding dental amalgam which is very unlikely to cause MS), such as they live near the ocean and eat a lot of seafood, or they are suspected of having Lyme Disease, use this treatment first.

Furthermore, the "consultation" that comes with this treatment can identify the "root cause" even if it is not mycotoxins.

Treatments If Lyme Disease or Mercury Are Suspected

The second cause of multiple sclerosis is a special type of CWD (Cell Wall Deficient) bacteria. This bacteria gets inside the myelin sheath. The immune system is unable to reach this bacteria and thus damages the myelon sheath. If this is what is causing MS, it is assumed that the patient has Lyme Disease and that it is the Lyme Disease bacteria that causes the MS.

The treatment for the two microbial versions of M.S. involves killing the microbes (the microbe is not in the bloodstream, thus electromedicine is required)!!

The third cause of multiple sclerosis is heavy metals; usually mercury from fish, dental amalgam or other sources. However, other heavy metals and even some chemicals can cause M.S.

The three causes are vastly, vastly different and so are the three treatments. The treatment for the heavy metal version of M.S. involves energizing the cells at the mitochondria level and chelation tactics, especially chelation which gets past the blood brain barrier (BBB).

In alternative medicine, "electromedicine" is very, very low amperage electrical currents, electromagnetic waves or magnetic pulses. It is totally safe and is not to be confused with the barbaric radiation therapy of orthodox medicine.

The first thing that must be done with an M.S. patient is try to determine which cause applies to the M.S. case!!

This involves an analysis of whether the person has been exposed to heavy metals or other chemicals. For example: has the person handled heavy metals (e.g. in a dental office or chemistry class); does the person have an abnormally high number of "silver" fillings (which are actually about 50% mercury); has the person been exposed to drinking water contaminated with chemicals (e.g. well water); has the person eaten a lot of fish (all fish have some mercury in them, especially ocean fish); did the person have their mercury fillings removed by an unqualified dentist (less than 1% of all dentists ARE qualified to remove dental amalgam), etc. etc.

The distribution of multiple sclerosis is heavily biased towards the ocean coast (where they consume an abnormally high amount of ocean fish). For example, Norway and the West Coast of the United States (e.g. Alaska) have abnormally high rates of MS!!

The other cause is microbes. If the person has the bacterial form of M.S. they have Lyme Disease or have had some other type of bacterial infection. A person that fits into this category will need to have a consultation with Mike Vrentas to deal with the Lyme Disease. See:

A third cause of multiple sclerosis might be "bad fats." These are things like trans-fatty acids. Trans-fatty acids stick to cell walls and may be a cause of multiple sclerosis.

A bad habit that may cause multiple sclerosis is constantly eating the same food that contains other types of bad fats and microbes. Example would be meat, aspartame or peanut butter. People who eat a lot of peanut butter can have several health problems due to both the bad fats and microbes in peanut butter.

When all is said and done MS is a cellular energy disease, meaning the cells themselves are weak. If every cell in a person's brain is weak (i.e. the brain is made up of many quadrillions of cells if you include the 100 trillion neuron synaptic connectors), then the brain itself will be weak.

Multiple Sclerosis - Key Treatment #1 - ASEA

ASEA has been shown in studies to increase the cellular production, bioavailability and utilization of: (1) glutathione, (2) superoxide dismutase (SOD) and (3) catalase by over five times. These are all antioxidant enzymes produced naturally within the body. Studies have shown that as we age the cells produce less and less of these important enzymes, which can lead to many of the health challenges people experience as they age.

Multiple Sclerosis - Key Treatment #2 - Quantum Pulse

An electromedicine device which has had very, very good results treating Multiple Sclerosis is called the "Quantum Pulse." Older versions of the device were called the "Vibe Machine." The two machines are identical in function so it doesn't matter which device you use.

Multiple Sclerosis - Key Treatment #3: NADH / ENADA From Source Naturals - 5.0 mg

The key development by Dr. Birkmayer was the creation of a stabilized version of the coenzyme NADH.

While enzymes are necessary in the body to assist chemical reactions, coenzymes are necessary for enzymes to work. Thus, without coenzymes the enzymes won't be of much use.

NADH is also called: coenzyme 1. It is an abbreviation for: Nicotinamide Adenine Dinucleotide. NADH is critical in the conversion of food to energy.

In the human body, the conversion of food to energy can be simplified in the following way:
1) glucose enters the cell,
2) glucose is converted into pyruvate,
3) pyruvate enters the mitochondria of the cell (the mitochondria are organelles in the cell where the energy for the cell is made),
4) Once pyruvate enters the mitochondria the "Citric Acid Cycle" or "Krebs Cycle" begins,
5) As the Krebs Cycle is cycling, another chain reaction spins off from the Krebs Cycle called the Electron Transport Chain (ETC).

The goal of all of this complex process is the creation of energy in the cells. Specifically, the creation of ATP molecules (adenosine triphosphate) is the goal. ATP provides the energy in the cells.

While each cycle of the Krebs Cycle creates an ATP molecule (which is the energy in the cell), far more ATP molecules are made in the Electron Transport Chain, which is a spin-off of the Krebs Cycle.

In nature, the Krebs Cycle occurs twice for each glucose molecule. For each cycle of the Krebs cycle, one molecule of ATP, three molecules of NADH, and one molecule of FADH₂ (a coenzyme similar to NADH) are formed. Therefore, for each glucose molecule, six NADH molecules are made.

NADH is the biological form of hydrogen which reacts with the oxygen present in our cells to produce ATP energy. It is a key "electron carrier" in the Electron Transport Chain (ETC).

NADH is created in the Krebs Cycle and is at the junction of the Krebs Cycle and the Electron Transport Chain. Three ATP molecules can be made for each of the six NADH molecule entering the respiratory chain (i.e. ETC) from a single glucose molecule.

Thus, NADH leads to the creation of eighteen ATP molecules for each glucose molecule. NADH is literally responsible for more ATP molecules than are created by all other sources combined.

The point to all of this is that because NADH is so critical a supplement for MS patients, it is clear that MS is a disease caused by the breakdown of the Krebs Cycle and/or the Electron Transport Chain. In other words, MS is a cellular energy disease.

It should be very well understood that not just any form of NADH is helpful. The form must be stabilized by the patented process discovered by Dr. Birkmayer. The acronym for his patented process is ENADA.

Multiple Sclerosis - Key Treatment #6 - Vitamin B12

I recently purchased a book which has led me to believe that a significant number of cases of MS (and a number of other brain disorders) are caused by a Vitamin B12 deficiency. A deficiency of B12 can cause damage to the myelon sheath!!

The problem is that even in those rare situations where orthodox medicine checks for B12 deficiencies their charts for detecting a deficiency are dead wrong!! They may say a patient does not have a deficiency when in fact they have a deadly deficiency.

The other problem is that taking oral B12 is almost worthless. If a person really has a B12 deficiency then a very specific protocol (which very few people know about), which involves injections of a specific type of B12, are necessary.

The bottom line is this: if the patient does have a Vitamin B12 deficiency YOU, the caregiver, are going to have to take charge and tell your medical doctors what they need to do to check for a B12 deficiency AND what kinds of injections, and how often, are needed!!

More About the Lyme Bacteria

A probable cause of some cases of MS is the Borrelia spirochete (i.e. treponemes) bacteria, which is a "cell wall deficient" bacteria.

While only a couple of the pages actually talk about M.S., the entire book is a wealth of information on the type of bacteria which causes M.S. and the key chapter (which includes a discussion of M.S.) has a wealth of references.

Curing Multiple Sclerosis caused by spirochete bacteria (which is a "cell wall deficient" bacteria) actually involves three key things:
1) Using electromedicine to kill the bacteria which causes the M.S.,
2) Using minerals to rebuild the myelin sheaths,

The book: The China Study has a chapter on autoimmune diseases, which includes a section on Multiple Sclerosis. The reputation of this book is so absolutely superb it would be worth buying the book for this one section (e.g. there was an interesting study they mention on saturated fats). It also has a more general section on all autoimmune diseases.

In The China Study there was a very high correlation between milk and the occurrence of M.S. This could have been because of the microbes in the milk in China. Also, I doubt China has the level of dental amalgam as in the U.S. which would be another evidence for milk being a cause.

Removing root canal teeth will not have as much of an affect on M.S. as removing the heavy metals, but in the long run it may be a good idea. Root canals are a safe-haven for microbes and can cause a recurrence of any disease because some of the target microbes are able to safely "hide" inside the root canals.

The same biological dentist who removes mercury from your teeth is also the best person to use to remove the root canals.

Using Electromedicine To Kill the Bacteria

Because the bacteria which causes M.S. does not exist in the bloodstream, but rather exists in the brain inside the myelin sheath, the only way to kill these bacteria is with electromedicine. The GB-4000 M.O.P.A. is discussed above. Here are other possibilities.

About Multiple Sclerosis - Possible Cause - Bad Fats

In this scenario eating large amounts of bad fats, such as trans-fatty acids (e.g. margarine, peanut butter, canola oil, etc.), essentially coat many of the brain cells and cause them to fail to function properly.

High levels of peanut butter, for example, have been shown to cause scleroderma, which is another brain disorder.

The only solution to this problem is to eat good fats and other products that clean off the bad fats from the cells. While eating good fats will do that, it takes too long.

The best way to rebuild the myelin sheaths is by using a combination of minerals and oils. 1) Grind or crush rapeseed seeds,
2) Make sure the shells are broken apart,
3) Boil them in water,
4) The oil will rise to the top of the mixture,
5) Use a "gravy strainer" to extract the oil from the mixture,
6) Do not keep for more than 30 days (i.e. make a new batch every 30 days)

M.S. symptoms can also be caused by aspartame (i.e. NutraSweet®, Equal®, etc.). In other words, just like mercury poisoning the person may be suffering from aspartame poisoning.

M.S. patients are always short of minerals, especially magnesium and potassium. They have a high ph or acid balance, and usually not enough B vitamins.

M.S. patients frequently have some allergies because of the low liver function and abundance of microbes in their body.

Dr. Mercola noted that virtually every R.A. and M.S. patient had very low levels of Vitamin D. Their levels were 10 to 20, but should be at 50 to 55. He recommended sunlight as the source of Vitamin D. Whether this is a symptom or a cause is unknown.
