Hi All, I just want to ask if anyone ever tried using medical cannabis as an alternative meds? I have read many articles about medical marijuana and how it can help you in terms of chronic pain, glaucoma, eating disorder/anorexia, anxiety disorders and panic attacks, inflammation, even cancer and a lot Cbd and thc are also new to me and I don't even smoke. If this is true I cant find any solid conclusive evidence that speaks to its efficacy. Any personal experience or testimonial would be highly appreciated. Thanks

Hi Gallchobhar! I have been using medical marijuana for about two years now for intractable pain, chronic muscle spasms, and permanent nerve damage relating to two accidents I was in ten years or so ago. Last year I was also diagnosed with endometrial cancer. I decided then and there I was not going to endure chemotherapy. I had read a number of articles about its rate of effectiveness and was largely not impressed. I opted to look into what strains of marijuana might be helpful in dealing with the cancer. Bubba Kush was recommended and I used that (smoked it) for most of the last year. It turns out it was also quite helpful with the other issues as well. Quite some years before, I had heard that Rick Simpson oil is a good way to deal with cancer and I started on that once I got my diagnosis. I had seen the video “Running From the Cure: The Rick Simpson Story” on youtube. I'm not sure if it's still there, but it's a good resource. RSO (Rick Simpson Oil) has been difficult to get with any consistency though, so I've had to alternate. I suspect it was my choice of medication that kept the cancer from progressing beyond stage 1A. A hysterectomy was done and chance of recurrence in the area is very small to nil. I hope this helps.

Best virginia opiate addiction treatment centre gave me treatment for my chronic pains. Really liked and found wonderful treatment there. Will recommend my friend also who is also having same issue. She will definitely like his services.

My friend has been using medical marijuana for about 3 weeks. He has stage 4 lung cancer. He has been having episodes of nausea and vomiting. I thought MMJ was supposed to take care of this. Someone tell me what is wrong. He made the oil just like Rick Simpson instructed and has only gotten up to 3 drops at a time.

I think it is better to focus on Medical Marijuana because we all know that it can really help us in our daily life even in our health. I am one of the people who used CBD oil for my asthma, I am having a hard to breathe every time i do my household chores and upon browsing I read this article and I try to use CBD for my illness and it really helps me a lot. I am not experiencing having a hard time to breathe now. Thanks to MJ 🙂

There is certainly good scope for using cannabis to manage side effects from chemo and other drugs used to treat cancer but the evidence around actually curing is pretty much non existent other than in a couple of isolated lab trials. The Rick Simpson story leaves me very underwhelmed too, he's so confident that it cured his he won't let any Dr assess him and provide evidence to the public. There is also a lot of outdated theory on his site which a couple of cancer specialists have described as misleading at best. These two articles were quite useful “> and “> both worth ten minutes of your time.
