“Nature’s Pharmacy,” the first of two chapters surrounding clean food, exposes hidden “Cancer Truths” within our own surroundings. Ty’s interviewees were asked, “What would be a general diet you would recommend that would keep the immune system strong and prevent cancer?” While all of the answers differed, the motif is we’re all accustomed to nutrient-deficient foods and that pharmaceuticals will never replace the divine purpose of nature’s harvest.
Dr. Patrick Quillin touches on over 300 studies showing diets rich in Fruits and Vegetables lowering our risk of several cancers. Even the American Medical Association (AMA) claims over ~140,000 Americans die annually from the “on-label use” of prescription drugs; meaning, there is a noteworthy risk of death even with physician-given instructions.
GMO, Iodine and Sugars
Not only are we not eating the “right foods,” we are eating far too many of the “wrong foods.” KC Craichy cites a study where groups of mice were studied under specific dietary conditions. The average life expectancy for a mouse with a diet rich in GMO feed was 232 days; when they limited their GMOs by half and substituted corn and vegetable oils for Fish Oil, the mice lived ~632 days.
If you or a loved one is a Cancer Patient, you are well versed on the dangers of dietary sugars like Fructose and Glucose. While staying away from high-glycemic fruit is generally a norm, Dr. Tony Jimenez hypothesizes that sugar from Organic Produce may not contribute to cancer cell growth like its adulterated counterpart. He explains that human mammalian cells absorb levorotatory (left spinning) molecules, while cancer cells can only assimilate dextrorotatory (right spinning) molecules. Essentially, fruits in their natural state contain left spinning sugars, whereas GMO-influenced fruits consist only of right spinning sugars. Dr. Jimenez concludes that the glycemic index is not nearly as important as the source and lineage of the fruits and vegetables we eat. As an example, Dr. Max Gerson used Carrot Juice as a successful alternative therapy, despite its high glycemic index.
Aside from Robert Scott Bell’s take on nutritional scarcity, the next block of importance regards Iodine intake. Dr. David Brownstein stresses the importance of Iodine supplementation in that “every cell in the body needs and requires iodine to function optimally” (Quest for the Cures). After testing roughly six thousand Cancer Patients, Brownstein found over 96% to be Iodine deficient.
