Introduction to Parkinson's Disease
Parkinson's disease is categorized as a “cellular energy” disease. To understand what a “cellular energy” disease is, consider this story:
- Suppose a football team is traveling 1,000 miles on a bus to play a game in a far-away city. During their two-day trip all of the players get sick from eating accidentally poisoned food. All of them also catch the flu. Then, the bus breaks down and none of the players get any sleep during the two days of the bus trip. Do you think the “team” will play very well?
If all of the players are sick and tired, the “team” will effectively also be sick and tired. The “team” is nothing but a “collection” of individual players, therefore, the “root cause” of why the team plays poorly is that the individual players are sick and tired.
Just like a football “team” is composed exclusively of players, the human body is composed almost exclusively of “cells.” If you extracted all of the “cells” from a human body there would be very little left on the floor other than blood (which actually contains cells), liquids, minerals, parasites (which for the most part shouldn't be there) and metals (which definitely should not be there). Not only is our brain made of cells, but even our hair and bones are made of cells. What I am getting at is that our brain is composed of cells. So when I say that Parkinson's is a “cellular energy” disease, what I mean is that the symptoms of Parkinsons indicate that the individual cells in the brain are very weak. In short, if the “brain” is not functioning properly, it is because the individual cells in the brain are not functioning properly.
Inside of each cell, whether in the brain or anywhere else, the cell energy is made in the mitochondria. Every cell has thousands of mitochondria. Each mitochondria contributes to making ATP energy, which is a special energy molecule. If a cell is weak, not enough ATP energy is being made. Thus, the treatment of symptoms of a cellular energy disease, such as Parkinson's, ALS, MS, etc., focus on:
1) Fixing the chemical reactions that are inside the mitochondria or
2) Can energize the cells in other ways (e.g. using the energy of electromedicine).
So the question is: Why are the individual brain cells in a Parkinson's patient weak? This is a “root cause” question.
When treating Parkinson's we can deal with the “root cause” of the disease (i.e. what causes the brain cells to be weak) or with the “symptom” of the “root cause,” meaning the lack of ATP molecules in the brain cells.
Wouldn't it be better to get rid of the “root cause” and the symptoms of the “root cause?” Obviously.
So in order to treat Parkinsons we need to know the “root cause” of why the brain cells are weak. And while we are dealing with the root cause, we can also deal with the symptoms (e.g. the weak brain cells that are not creating enough ATP energy).
The Primary Treatment For Parkinsons
The primary treatment for Parkinsons is also the primary treatment for several other brain disorders. One article has been written for several brain disorders because in most cases the patient's condition has the same “root cause,” namely highly acidic mycotoxins which create “perpetual brain fog.”

Protocols for Parkinson's
First, use a product that kills massive numbers of microbes in the bloodstream, such as:

Second, a liver cleanse. Use Google and pick a liver cleanse that discusses liver microbes and liver flukes. When you pick a liver cleanse you must also use a gallbladder cleanse to protect the gallbladder. ParaStat (i.e. Para Stat) and ParaPunch (i.e. Para Punch) is an excellent combination.
Third, either find someone to do professional chelation therapy or purchase supplements to do chelation therapy. Here are some good ones (by the way, ASEA, mentioned below, indirectly does some chelation):

Nutritional Options To Deal With Symptoms
There are some very powerful nutritional products that can energize weak cells and can deal very well with the symptoms of Parkinson's while you are using the other protocols to deal with the “root cause.” These are important additions to the protocol and can be started immediately.
The nutritional treatments are listed below and are largely prioritized in terms of their effectiveness on Parkinson's, based on my research. Obviously, the electromedicine devices are listed first, for those who can afford one or find one near them. The other items are nutritional products primarily to deal with the cellular energy of the brain cells.

This section is the result of interviewing a former Parkinson's Disease patient who had cured her disease with the help of Dr. Georg Birkmayer, MD, PhD, of Vienna, Austria. Dr. Birkmayer and his father made incredible discoveries which have helped many thousands of Parkinson's patients. The treatment should also benefit Lewy Body Disease patients as well.
The key development by Dr. Birkmayer was the creation of a stabilized version of the coenzyme NADH. While enzymes are necessary in the body to assist chemical reactions, coenzymes are necessary for enzymes to work. Thus, without coenzymes the enzymes won't be of much use.
NADH is also called: coenzyme 1. It is an abbreviation for: Nicotinamide Adenine Dinucleotide. NADH is critical in the conversion of food to energy.
In the human body, the conversion of food to energy can be simplified in the following way:
1) glucose enters the cell,
2) glucose is converted into pyruvate,
3) pyruvate enters the mitochondria of the cell (the mitochondria are organelles in the cell where the energy for the cell is made),
4) Once pyruvate enters the mitochondria the “Citric Acid Cycle” or “Krebs Cycle” begins,
5) As the Krebs Cycle is cycling, another chain reaction spins off from the Krebs Cycle called the Electron Transport Chain (ETC).
The goal of all of this complex process is the creation of energy in the cells, specifically, the creation of ATP molecules (adenosine triphosphate). ATP provides the energy in the cells.
While each cycle of the Krebs Cycle creates an ATP molecule (which is the energy in the cell), far more ATP molecules are made in the Electron Transport Chain, which is a spin-off of the Krebs Cycle. In nature, the Krebs Cycle occurs twice for each glucose molecule. For each cycle of the Krebs cycle, one molecule of ATP, three molecules of NADH, and one molecule of FADH2 (a coenzyme similar to NADH) are formed. Therefore, for each glucose molecule, six NADH molecules are made.
NADH is the biological form of hydrogen which reacts with the oxygen present in our cells to produce ATP energy. It is a key “electron carrier” in the Electron Transport Chain (ETC). NADH is created in the Krebs Cycle and is at the junction of the Krebs Cycle and the Electron Transport Chain. Three ATP molecules can be made for each of the six NADH molecule entering the respiratory chain (i.e. ETC) from a single glucose molecule.
Thus, NADH leads to the creation of eighteen ATP molecules for each glucose molecule. NADH is literally responsible for more ATP molecules than are created by all other sources combined.
Because NADH is so critical a supplement for Parkinson's patients, it is clear that Parkinson's is a disease caused by the breakdown of the Krebs Cycle and/or the Electron Transport Chain. In other words, Parkinson's Disease is a cellular energy disease.
Like Alzheimer's, there could be several different causes of Parkinson's disease, such as: heavy metals, microbes (especially a virus, protozoan parasite Toxoplasma gondii or the spirochete bacteria in Lyme Disease), lactic acid, poor circulation (which itself has many causes), etc.
It should be very well understood that not just any form of NADH is helpful. The form must be stabilized by the patented process discovered by Dr. Birkmayer. The acronym for his patented process is ENADA.

Reducing Your Prescription Drugs For This Protocol Only
In as little as one day a Parkinson's patient may feel the need to lower their dose of prescription drugs. The prescription drugs should not be eliminated all at once.
You might want to reduce the dose in thirds or fourths. For example, when you feel the need to lower your prescription dose, reduce it by 1/3. The next time you feel the need, lower it by another third. Eventually you can get totally off of your prescription drugs.
The treatment for Parkinson's is only treating the symptoms (until it is known exactly what the root cause is for a specific case). Thus, most likely this is a lifelong treatment.

Product #4: MSM/Vitamin C and MSM/LIPH
MSM or Methylsulfonylmethane occurs in nature but is largely lost during food processing. While MSM itself does not chelate anything, except possibly lactic acid, a portion of the MSM, once inside the body, converts into DMSO. It is the DMSO that can chelate many heavy metals.

It is absolutely certain that many cases of Parkinson's are caused by heavy metals such as: mercury, copper, iron, zinc, etc. Chlorella can chelate many kinds of heavy metals. In addition to the NADH, selenium (Selenomethionine) is also a required supplement for this protocol. Selenomethionine is an amino acid which contains a selenium molecule.
One pill per day of this product is recommended.

Product #9: Vitamin B12
I have recently purchased a book which has led me to believe that a significant number of cases of Parkinson's (and a number of other brain disorders) are caused by a Vitamin B12 deficiency. Vitamin B12 is very important in keeping the brain healthy. The problem is that even in those rare situations where orthodox medicine checks for B12 deficiencies their charts for detecting a deficiency are dead wrong. They may say a patient does not have a deficiency when in fact they have a deadly deficiency.
The other problem is that taking oral B12 is almost worthless. If a person really has a B12 deficiency then a very specific protocol (which very few people know about), which involves injections of a specific type of B12, are necessary.
The bottom line is this: if the patient does have a Vitamin B12 deficiency you, the caregiver, are going to have to take charge and tell your medical doctors what they need to do to check for a B12 deficiency and what kinds of injections, and how often, are needed.

Other Products Under Research
Because the end cause of Parkinson's Disease is so well known (i.e. loss of cellular energy and specifically ATP molecules), and because we know what cures the symptoms, there are other products to consider.
However, a patient should establish a consistent baseline of results by using the above protocol exclusively before tampering with the protocol.
By establishing the baseline first, any modification to the protocol (and generally only modify one aspect at a time, meaning only add one product at a time) can be evaluated.
Other things to consider:
1) Magnesium (see the book: The Magnesium Miracle by Carolyn Dean, MD)
2) D-Ribose (a special kind of sugar known to provide cellular energy)
3) The Budwig Diet (known to help cellular energy)
4) NAC (N-acetyl-cysteine)
Can help increase levels of glutathione, but should not be used by children. Small doses should be used several times a day.
5) DHA (in the omega-3 family), generally consumed via cod liver oil, has long-chain omega-3 molecules.
7) Stem Enhance, because heavy metals can actually kill brain cells, may be helpful. It is a supplement that allows the body to replace dead cells. However, I should note that the body decides where to put the new stem cells so the body may put the new cells where you don't want them. That said, it is certainly worth buying this product.

Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT)
Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy has done very well at treating Cerebral Palsy. Hyperbaric oxygen pushes oxygen into the bloodstream and into cells probably better than anything else. It would also get oxygen into the brain.
However, HBOT has not done as well with Parkinson's but it has shown some benefits.
